Fashion Week Sewing Camp August 4-6

**Advanced Sewers Camp** Prior machine sewing experience is required for this camp. 

During this week, we will explore sewing different clothing items. This camp is most appropriate for children who already know their way around a sewing machine and would like to expand on those skills. We will be working with stretchy fabrics. 

When: Monday-Wednesday August 3-5 from 1-4PM

Who: Children ages 8 and up who already have sewing experience

Your student will need: 

• Shorts, Skort, or Leggings-Students choice. 1 yard of fabric with a 4-way stretch. I recommend checking with Joann's for a fabric that contains spandex. (Juvenile Apparel section is a great place to start.)
• T-shirt/Tunic-Students choice. 1 yard of brushed poly or a spandex blend. (1.25 yard for a child size 14 or above)
• A Skirt, Knee length or maxi length-Students choice. 3/4 yard for knee length, 1.25 yard for maxi length. Brushed poly or a spandex blend of fabric.

This is a long class period. We will plan to take a break for a snack. Students may bring their own or have what is provided. Please leave a note of any allergies your child may have. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle, but please no juice, milk, or soda. 

Please plan to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the start of class and pick up no later than 5 minutes after the end of class. 

Class enrollment is non-refundable. Make up dates are not available for missed classes. In the event that your child is unable to attend their scheduled camp, class fees may be transferred to another camp if notice is given at least 48 hours prior to the first day of camp.
